Conference Description

Complex systems are at the heart of water resources. In addition to traditional themes of advances in GIS in water resources, this conference will explore complex systems related to water, including ecological webs, water infrastructure, transportation networks and water-energy-food nexus among others. Presentations on analytical and visualization tools including GIS that can be used for decision-making in such systems are encouraged.

This AWRA Spring Specialty Conference will pay tribute to Dr. David Maidment for his outstanding contributions to the water resources community. A full day Maidment Symposium sponsored by CUAHSI (Consortium of Universities for the Advancement of Hydrologic Science, Inc) will follow the conference.
