Ariel Lineberger is a 2023 East Carolina University (ECU) alumnus with a B.S. in Engineering, concentrating in Environmental Engineering. Her passion for environmental stewardship stems from her scenic mountain upbringing in Nebo, NC. She uses her love for nature to drive her commitment to maintaining mutualism between humans and the environment. Ariel is also a first-generation college student, past AWRA DEI scholarship recipient, GEC scholarship recipient, and ECU scholarship recipient. By utilizing her involvement in AWRA and her ECU mentorship, she has gained practical experience throughout her college and professional career in government-funded projects, research, and conference presentations. Now as a young professional, she is excited to leverage her background to inspire and support the next generation of students in their academic and professional journeys while she progresses in her consulting career.
