Drone ImageObjective: To train professional conservationists, hydrologists, engineers, erosion control workers, federal, state and private business employees, consultants, specialists, and other individuals involved with UAVs (drones) or considering UAV applications for their organization.

1. Aerial LIDAR surveying
2. Aerial infrared inspection
3. High definition aerial photography and videography

Background: UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles or drones) are finding applications in a wide variety of industries and environments. Sensors are becoming fully integrated with UAVs and easily exchangeable, allowing UAVs to become a tool, thereby helping organizations create cost effective solutions.

Topics: Topics to be covered include an introduction to UAVs and a demonstration of some practical applications.

Take Away: After the workshop, attendees should be able to understand practical UAV applications and their strengths, weaknesses and opportunities. The presentations will also help attendees understand the necessary steps needed to integrate UAV operations within their existing organization.

Number of Participants: Will be limited to 40 and will be enrolled in the order in which their paid registration is received. The course will be canceled if the number of participants enrolled by October 19th, 2017 is fewer than 10.
