What is the cost of posting a job on the AWRA Website?
AWRA will post job listings for Associate
members for $100/per ad. All other postings will be charged
$200/per listing. Jobs will be
posted for minimum of 60 days, with extensions available for an
additional fee. For the fastest service please pay with a credit
card. If you need to be billed, an additional $100 surcharge will
be assessed. Please request a bill using the contact information
below. Billed jobs will be posted upon receipt of payment. To pay
for a job listing once you have submitted it, please proceed to
the job
payment form.
After posting a job and reviewing my submission, I noticed that
some of the information I submitted is missing. Why?

Chances are the AD text contains a character the
job submission program can't handle. Do NOT put the following
characters in your AD (",&, : or =).

You may have exceeded the maxium length currently
allowed for the "Position Summary". Try reducing the length and
then resubmit the changes.
What ads will be placed?
Any advertisement that is suitable for the water
resources field.
What minimum information is needed for AWRA to place my ad?
- Company Name and Address
- Contact Name and phone number
- E-mail address
- Ad text
- Closing Date
- Let us know if you wish certain information not to appear in the ad
Does my firm qualify for the Associate Member discount?
The office where the job is located or the office submitting the job
posting, must be an Associate member. Example: ABC Inc. has 75 offices
around the country. ABC Inc. holds an Associate membership in its Bethesda,
MD office. ABC's San Diego, CA office has submitted a position. The discount
would not apply because the membership is held in the Bethesda office.
If Bethesda submits the job on behalf of San Diego then it would qualify
for the discount. This same scenario holds true for a multi-office government
institution.
What is the preferred way to submit my ad
Submit by going to the Job
Submission Page. The Job Submission page will present a form to fill
out. After submission, your ad will be reviewed by AWRA and published
on the Positions Available page. We reserve the right to either accept
or reject ads we deem inappropriate. We reserve the right to edit ad for
space or flow. Let us know how your ad has performed. We'd like to hear
